GhostFrame technology is a software tool set within Megapixel’s HELIOS LED Processing Platform that is used to create on-set, real-time in camera VFX (ICVFX) workflows.
Created for film, broadcast, and event production teams, GhostFrame technology allows the camera to capture multiple content experiences, all from a single take.
This is made possible by the fact that LEDs can refresh significantly faster than a camera, and even faster than the human brain can see images – allowing it to capture one or more sets of images while the naked eye only sees one.

Hidden cues and content for performers ensure they hit their marks and remembers their lines, even when a physical set is sparse
Markers can be embedded into the LED screen and hidden from the camera’s captured footage
Add a full green or blue screen frame within your video feed to enable real-time matte replacement or safety shots for post
Up to four* unique video feeds captured simultaneously - allowing for multiple camera perspectives, backgrounds, or lighting
